With an increased focus on sustainability, businesses are now looking for new ways to improve their environmental performance. Completely reusable, the Adaptable Meeting Room can be taken down, relocated, and rebuilt, offering businesses sustainability in one modern office solution. Furthermore, the reusable aspect of these office meeting pods fits perfectly into the circular economy. As a result, businesses are not simply designing an office layout for today instead they are building a workspace for the future.
We are dedicated to uncovering and utilising the most sustainable solutions, processes, and methods available. In doing so, we hope to reduce our impact on the environment. We strive for the ability to sustain and the capacity to endure. Our future needs to focus on how we produce and consume, and the very ways in which we define and measure value and progress.
The WELL Building standard is run by the International WELL Being Institute (IWBI) and focuses on the building occupants’ environment rather than the building itself. It is the first industry standard to quantify and benchmark health and well-being features of the built environment. Each feature of the WELL scheme is designed to address issues that impact the health, comfort or knowledge of building occupants, and is attributed to the human body systems that are intended to benefit from its implementation.
LEED is the environmental assessment standard operated by the US Green Building Council (USGBC). Considering materials, resources and indoor environmental quality, it seeks to improve a building’s environmental performance.
The UK’s prime built-environment sustainability scheme, BREEAM has grown into the most widely used certification for assessing the sustainability of building construction and fit-outs. Addressing key categories such as Materials, Health & Wellbeing and Waste BREEAM aims to mitigate the life cycle of buildings on the environment.
SKA is an environmental assessment tool designed specifically for landlords and tenants in the office and retail fit-out market. Operated by RICS it considers the specification and performance of systems and materials in the design/planning; delivery/construction; and occupancy stages of a project.
Portico is Google’s Healthy Materials on-line tool used to provide a product database for the selection and specification of healthy materials used in construction projects. We have undertaken work to consider the substances in our products and look to reduce any chemical deemed harmful.
